I just got my first "When are you due?" question from someone at work...
Iguess it's pretty obvious now! I feel kind of cool now - like I'm clearly pregnant and not simply being mistaken for overweight!
The Bump ate my signature.
DD - Apr 2011
DS - expected June 2013
Re: Holy crap
Aww, little mango baby!!
See, I'm going to hate that weird in between stage where you start to get bigger, but it's not totally noticeable that you're pregnant yet.
Mango Baby makes me want a fun tropical grown-up drink of some sort!
Yeah, the in-between stage sucks...like you just want to be like, "I'm not fat - I'm pregnant!" Ha. And it's amazing how fast it hit, for me - I was so bloated and uncomfortable by 8 weeks that I had switched into maternity pants. And just now, 11 weeks later, someone finally had the guts to actually ask me if I was pregnant.
I think I just figured out how I'll eventually tell my parents when I get pregnant. I'm going to get a shirt that says "I'm not fat - I'm pregnant!" hahahaha.
Did you have a lot of morning sickness? I'm REALLLLY not looking forward to that.
Yes, please drink up for me (and all the other pregnant May ladies).
Stu, no morning sickness. As in, I never threw up and never really got queasy out of nowhere. I did have some food aversions (and still do - as in chicken just grosses me out as well as this pork chop recipe DH loves and I used to make for us all the time. I still make it for him but don't eat it...)
So I've been pretty lucky in that respect. A lot of people have horrible experiences with the morning sickness, but every pregnancy and every woman is differnet. There's no guarentee of anything. Just have to wait and see how it happens for you!
Yep! This will be me, too, I'm sure of it.
My mom passed out at work once when she was pregnant with me. Can't wait for that experience.
You've heard what I've done, not what I've been through.
If you were in my shoes, you'd fall the first step."
I HOPE I'm not sick the whole time... I hate feeling pukey!
AND PS!!!!! I LUUUUURVE Mangoes!!!!! They're def in my top 5 favorite fruits! So YAY baby Mango!!! Tomorrow night, I am going to have a mango margarita in BabyCT and MamaCT's honor!
I mean this in the best way possible when I say ... you are evil
. I've been sick non-stop, all day since about week 7 and STILL am having problems! I mostly just dryheave but the feeling is there constantly. Thank goodness for Unisom though because that's the ONLY thing that makes the nausea go away but as soon as it wears off, I'm sick again.
