GRKaters

Hi!  I tried to post a comment on your blog today, but it doesn't accept blogger log-ins, and I didn't have any of the other accounts (besides Google, but I'm pretty sure that would post both my first and last name which I didn't want to do).

Just wanted to say that I enjoy your blog and the healthy meal/snack options that you post about.  I'm always looking for new ideas!  For awhile now I've been meaning to try the granola bar recipe that you made.

Re: GRKaters

  • Thank you! :) I appreciate the comment.

Those granola bars are getting made in our house this weekend; I just pulled the recipe up today and remembered how easy they are! Hope you like 'em.

I'm not sure you mentioned this in your post, but are they more chewy or more crunchy?

Crunchy, if we're talking the Nature Valley-like ones that are oats + butter + brown sugar.

I had asked my sister to make a batch using applesauce or pumpkin in place of some butter, to see if that would make them softer, but never heard back from her about that.
