Tonight: sweet, glorious nothing! I'm using the snow we're supposed to get tonight as an excuse to spend the evening on my couch. Maybe I'll walk down to the liquor store and buy myself some wine!
Tomorrow: I'm going to a bridal shower for H's cousin in the morning, then (hopefully) sneaking in a nap. We're going out to dinner with FIL, MIL, BIL, SIL and her BF and my parents to celebrate my b-day, then heading over to the bar where I have a wristband deal from 9pm to 12am. I never celebrate my birthday, and I don't know why I decided to this year - but I'm looking forward to it!
Sunday: It's my actual b-day, so I plan on sleeping off my hangover. H says he has something planned for when he gets off work, so that should be fun!
Random/vent: Hey, didja guys know I'm looking for a job?? I know I've been SO quiet about it. Anywho, after yet another interview (this is the fourth company I've interviewed with in the past...6 months, I think?) for a position that pays $15k less than I make now, I'm trying to make lemonade out of lemons at my current organization. Long story short (kinda), I'm coming up with a proposal to change merge my current position with a vacant one at my organization - it would play to my strengths, be positive for the company AND save them money. I'm getting all my ducks in a row and trying to make it air tight before presenting it to my supervisor (he's the COO, so I would only have to present to him). This would be a wonderful step in the right direction for my career, so I really hope it works. It can't hurt to try (theoretically), right?

Happy birthday Nora!!
Today/tonight: I had to get measured for a bridesmaids dress (yeah, the week after thanksgiving...thanks a lot lol), doing some paper grading, and tonight we're going to our fave restaurant downtown for H's birthday dinner and the best cake in the world!
Tomorrow: be to school by 9 to work on a group project and stay until it's finished. Tomorrow night I'll be watching the SEC championship game and making chili and cornbread and beer
Sunday: not sure. I have lots of school work to finish up so I may be writing 2 papers and doing some sketching. Hopefully I can take a break sometime this weekend, but since finals are next week, it probably won't happen.

My mom is visiting us this weekend so we will hang out with her. It's snowing like crazy right now, so we might not be leaving the house.
However, we are going to take her to this amazing hole in the wall pizza place tomorrow for lunch. It's worth braving the wind and snow for yummy pizza!

Happy Birthday Nora!
Tonight, I think DH and I are going to a local bar for 1/2 price apps and $5 margaritas.
tmrw: Its the busiest weekend at the tree farm, so DH and I are working..then hopefully a quiet night on the couch.

PS...I had a dream the other night that I was 5 weeks pregnant, and it was so real it was scary. I even kept rolling over at night, and was "watching" my stomach because I was afraid pepper was going to kick me. ha. however, since then, i've been having a little bit of baby fever.
His birthday is today. We didn't think when we planned our wedding, obviously. His birthday is Dec 3, then Christmas, then New Years, then our Anny, then my b-day Feb 10 and then valentines day...then we don't celebrate the rest of the year lol.
Thanks, Alise - but damn you for making me crave a margarita with your post!
Happy birthday to your H! Yeah, clearly we didn't think too much about the whole birthday, Christmas and New Years trinity when planning the wedding either. Meh, at least this stuff makes winter more exciting!
