I have a question! I have never been to a cookie exchange (I get how they work) but I'm trying to figure out exactly how many cookies I need to make.
This: Bring 20 sets of cookies, leave with 20 sets of cookies (or whatever's left over after you've 'sampled'.) Depending on your recipe, that could be 20 dozen, 20 half dozen, or 20 pairs.
confused me. Am I supposed to make one cookie for each person to eat there and then one cookie for each person to take home?

"traditionally" the idea of the cookie exchange is that if you have 12 people attending, each bring 12 dozen (all your cookie) and you leave with 12 dozen (a dozen of each attendee's cookie)
In the past, we've figured out that a lot depends on your recipe. Some recipes are really time intensive and making 12 dozen is really prohibitive so I was trying to make things easier and saying "sets" instead.
Some people choose to eat some cookies while there, others don't. Up to you.
Also, we only have 15 people who have given me addresses, there won't be 20 people there...so, I think we should adjust the number of sets. Is 15 better than 20?
Yeah, I'd like to see you if you can make the time to come by.
