Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Your furnace is leaking carbon monoxide into your house? Do y'all know why it's doing that? I'm thinking that's probably an expensive repair. Goodness!! You have me all worried becUse that's not a good thing.

After we closed on our house last September, we had our heating company come do a furnace check before we turned it on (thankfully, we used our heads on this one). The tech immediately disconnect everything saying there were carbon monoxide readings immediately after turning it on. We had to replace the entire furnace that week. It was very scary because there was a family with little children living in our house before we bought it. I'm so glad they were alright. We told the old owner and he acted clueless about it.
