Since nobody from my old job is here, I can gush!
Oh man, you guys! First of all, my new cubicle is four times the size of my old one. It has actual storage space, a seating area for meetings/interviews, and a real-sized desk. My old cubicle was the size of a half-bath, if that. Just enough room to swivel a chair around.
Secondly, all my equipment is brand new. Laptop, monitor, Blackberry, etc.
Thirdly, no set hours. And no dire admonishments about using work equipment for personal use. My VP believes that her departments are staffed by professionals who know how to do their jobs and act accordingly.
No jeans allowed. Working from home is perfectly acceptable.
I am so excited!!! I think they had me the moment I saw my cubie. ![]()
(Downstairs there's a "gift shop" for "buying" branded giveaways for clients. !!!)

Tea Time for Lulu
We are living in a Residence Inn ... sort of a small two-bedroom apartment. We are definitely looking for a permanent home! I think we'll stay in South King County (Kent/Renton), but we aren't sure.
What's cool is that they have a complimentary breakfast daily, and complimentary dinner Mon-Thurs. Definitely cuts down on the $$ (although we keep finding new restaurants to hit!).
