AW.... this is the cake that I made for tonight. It was supposed to be for a surprise birthday party but the birthday boy was in a bad mood and wanted to go home, so he arrived before all of the guests but the Caterer, Margarita Machine and Cake were there to surprise him.

AW... my loves. I don't think I've ever really posted pics of my furbabies on here. But these are them. Petunia (we just call her Tuna, or Monkey, or Stinks) and Petey. They were being super cute today while I was working on the cake so I had to take pics. They OBVIOUSLY have a monopoly on the couch pillows and blankets.

And last but not least. We have a couple of friends who have been trying to get pregnant for, if I remember correctly, about 6 or 7 years. They recently tried IVF and it was successful. They are having TWINS!!! YAY! Well yesterday they found out that they are having a boy and girl, so at Target tonight... I just couldn't help myself! =D I will be sending them these with their Christmas card!

Re: PIPs
The cake is amazing! And your furbabies are too cute! Looks like you're gonna have to get another couch, LOL!
Wow! That cake is awesome!! How long does it take you to make something like that?
and your friends must be so excited, I can't imagine trying for a baby for 6 or 7 YEARS! They're going to be two loved kids!
1. gorgeous cake! saw your others on FB, amazing!
2. dogs are precious!
3. how exciting for them!!!!
All of this!
You've heard what I've done, not what I've been through.
If you were in my shoes, you'd fall the first step."
Petunia is a Jack Russel/Beagle mix (and yes she has the beagle howl) and Petey is a Lab/Terrier mix (and we think the terrier part is pitt but because he came from a specific humane society, they can't say that)
And we do have two couches. They were on the loveseat yesterday. Usually Kev and I sit there and they take up the big couch. But from time to time, they will both try to squeeze on the loveseat with us.
And Thanks everyone!
This one actually didn't take very long. I took my sweet time with it yesterday because I took the day off of work. The actual decorating part was probably about 2 hours. Its the baking and filling that took longer on this one. I have done several that take me upwards of 7 hours.
I love that your dogs get the big sofa and you guys get the loveseat. We know who's boss in you're house
