Anyone been to the Diana exhibit yet?

Are you allowed to take in camera's?

Re: Anyone been to the Diana exhibit yet?

  • Amaretto has been there I believe.
  • I have been to it. It's an amazing exhibit! The answer to your question is NO, absolutely not! There are several signs about it and they remind you of it constantly. I was super bummed about it.They also have people who work there everywhere, so it's not really possible to sneak a picture.

It's still totally worth seeing though!

  • Thank you!!  That is a bummer...but I can understand.
  • Yeah, I was really bummed, but I also understood why....you'll be amazed at the exhibit, though! When I first walked in and saw her wedding gown....wow! It was such a cool experience. And they had many of her dresses, several of which I recognized. It was so weird knowing that these are the clothes she actually wore, and you're *this* close to them.

  • I saw this on the news when they first opened it, but how long is the display going to be open?

  • The exhibit is showing until Feb. 16.
  • I loved the exhibit.  I have to say I did tear up a couple of times. And as noted above..seeing her wedding dress was amazing.  I have no words to describe how I felt when I was standing within inches of the gown. I too remember seeing her in many of the dresses that are displayed.  She was such an elegant and beautiful woman.  It is well worth going.  Especially if you remember seeing her wedding on TV and have any ind of interest about her.  I learned a few things I didn't know before.  There is a gift shop. (imagine that) And since they do not allow cameras...I bought the book.  It has everything that was on display in that book.
