Hi everyone,
The inside of my coffee cups look completely filthy even fresh out of the dishwasher. They look all brown and spotty inside (the inside of the cups used to be a pretty pearly white). It's not the dishwasher because everything else comes out fine. Is there anything I can do to reverse it (besides giving up coffee because if it's doing that to my cups, God only knows what it's doing to my insides) ?
Re: Coffee cup spots
I know people recommend vinagar and baking soda for a lot of tough cleaning.
You could also try cleaner for dentures which cleans coffee stains.

I've made a paste of baking soda and a bit of water... I just use my fingers to gently rub it in the spots.... works well for stainless steel too.... the baking soda is abrasive enough that it should work fine. Not to mention, non-toxic and cheap!
p.s. handwashing will work better than the dishwasher, i have come to find. we have a top of the line dishwasher, but there are always those couple of items that never wash completely (like the inside of our coffee pot)!
