Is it tacky to mail a 5x5 card in a 5x7 envelope?
Can I get your opinion? My Christmas cards are 5x5. But to mail out a 5x5 envelope it's $0.20 extra (so about $15 extra dollars in postage). Do you think it would look bad to put the card in a 5x7 envelope? I don't know if I'm breaking any "mailing out invitation rules". If it was for a wedding invitation, I wouldn't do this. But I'm not sure what to think about it for just a Christmas card. Thoughts?

Thinking of doing cosmetic updates to a dated home? These were our costs.
No one will even notice. Trust me.
That and if you think that's tacky, I didn't want to pay a ton in postage this year, so I'm sending out Christmas postcards.
I don't care. It's the thought behind it and they get taped up and thrown out anyways.
