My exciting plans for today
So, I don't know if I mentioned this before, but I decided a couple of weeks ago to take 2 days off (i still had 5 left to take this year... will probably roll 3 over to next year), and go surprise my parents in Florida.
They just came back from 3 weeks in Hawaii visiting my sister, and they came home Thursday, so they should be somewhat back to normal by now.
I fly in tonight, land at about 8, and got a car service to pick me up and take me to their house. I'm going to tell them that I'm having something delivered to them tonight, so they're not COMPLETELY shocked when the doorbell rings at 8:30 at night on a Sunday. I'll only stay until Tuesday night, but I know they'll be thrilled. We had no plans to see them any time soon (going to DH's family for Xmas, then going to Mexico for the rest of that week), and it's so expensive to fly for a weekend this time of year, so I found a cheap flight to do mid-week.
I only hope they're not SO surprised they have a heart attack!
