Shower stains?

I've cleaned my shower at least five times since yesterday, there is one area on the floor that I can't clean.  It's the spot we stand, you can see the separate spots for our feet.  I've used every cleaner in the house, and every sponge right down to a Brillo pad, and the stain will not come out.  Anyone have an idea for how to get the stain out of there?

Re: Shower stains?

  • Have you tried making a paste out of baking soda and vinegar?  I do that and use a magic eraser to scrub.  I've also used Borax with pretty good results.

  • Magic eraser is your friend, this will get up any stains in the shower and is usually my last ditch effort if my regular cleaning routine still leaves stains. Just make sure you wear rubber gloves, it can irritate your skin.
  • If you have a dollar tree near your home, or any 99c store, look for a multi-use degreaser named "Awesome". Yes it really is awesome. It's only a buck and I use it for cleaning my shower (four people use it), cleaning my sink, washing stains off my husbands white shirts (works construction) it's good for virtually anything. It's safe to use, and has no harsh chemicals. Good luck!
