I am sure we brought this up last Christmas but I am wondering what everyine is doing for their inlaws. I guess it could be said that we are not really close with The Mr's family and therefore never seem to know what to get them. In the past we have gotten them books, restaurant gift certificates, a framed photo...this year we are at a bit of a loss.
Re: Buying for the inlaws.
Because of my in-laws hardships, we'll be covering the cost of food when we all (DH, me, 2 BILs, DH's nephew) converge on their house for Christmas. We went everyone to feel like it's Christmas despite their hardships, so we're going all out on food.
We decided to get them the framed family photos that they had talked about getting after the wedding but couldn't afford. Lame, but something that they wanted.
