Ever since Dagger was born I have had severely dry skin. And having heat on now with the cold weather has created the perfect storm of severely dry skin.
It is really bad. I have never had dandruff or anything like this. I can see huge patches of dry skin when I pull back my part.
Do I have to go out and buy Selson Blue or some crap like that? Or is there something else I can do.
I use Aveda Shampure shampoo and conditioner. I don't really use any other products right now since it seems so bad.

I think that's the stuff I ended up with last time I bought some.
I should add that I shampoo with the dandruff/dry scalp shampoo first, then use my regular shampoo and conditioner. This is my attempt to make my head not reek as badly of medicated shampoo.

I use this stuff in the winter:

Dandruff and dry scalp aren't the same thing, so I would not just use a dandruff shampoo.
I use Dove Moisturizing Shampoo but it doesn't sound like it's hardcore enough for your needs. I would try the T-Gel, though, because I love Neutrogena products.
Do you use conditioner? I would also think about not washing my hair as often if you can get away with it.
The nerve!

It may be related. If conditioner is too heavy, still use it on the tips, and then use a lightweight spray in conditioner. I like Back to Basics.
