The weekend is over...how's your Monday? Mood or marvelous?
Mine is moody. It's cold, snowy, and windy. I was surprised not to have a sub job today. However, since it is crappy out I have limited the amount of schools I am willing to travel to.
I have night class tonight...which I've already mentioned to DH he may have to take me if the roads are messy! I know we will only be there for an hour (it's a 3.25 hr class but we never stay the whole time!) so I feel like it's not even worth it, but it's the last class of the semester.
Re: Moody/Marvelous Monday
I'm grumpy. It's monday (blah), I just spent 20 minutes scraping ice off my car (double blah), and I'm getting a head CT done tonight for ongoing sinus issues (triple blah).
I want to go home.
It's December, so I'm not surprised, but the weather sucks. At least it isn't snowing, and a lot of it melted. When I left for work this morning, it was 7 with a windchill of -9. By the time I got to work, which was extremely fast (maybe because a bunch of people in Indy are skipping?), it was 8 with a windchill of -8. It's supposed to get up to 35 on Wednesday though!
I'm in a good mood, other than that. All of my assignments have been submitted for the semester--just waiting for my final next week.
Struggling. I hate hate HATE winter, and have been a little blue lately. I'm going to try and walk the dog EVERY day, and try to stabilize my mood. DH and I are figuring out what the holidays mean to us, and how we would like to spend them. We've decided NOT to decorate this year, and it's a huge relief.I'm not all grinchy, but it's just that we haven't even been in the house 60 days, don't have kids at home, and working for a hospital, I have such a messy holiday schedule anyway. Our only gathering will be brunch here with my parents on the 18th, and that will be a ton of work as it is. I'm just not interested in getting out the tree.
Here's to a nice, balanced week!
I'm having a pretty mediocre Monday. I had a lovely Christmas-y weekend and now it's snowing outside--the really light, gentle kind of snow and I would so much be at home working on DH's Christmas socks than here dealing with the absurdities at the office.
I'm way excited about working on these socks later. They're a dark green argyle that I know DH is going to love. Plus finishing them means I am All Done with Christmas presents.

MY BLOG!
Mediocre Monday... I could not shut my brain off last night and didn't fall asleep until 330? I have my follow up dr. appt today (find out my test results from my surgery) and then hoping to hop on over to MAC to buy some goodies. I'm excited to get back into the grind (been off work for 2 weeks) but I feel like a big blob. I bought all healthy foods yesterday at the grocery store and really want to get back into any kind of exercise program. I'm paying for a gym membership every month and need to flippin go already! I need Bob Harper to yell at me every single day....that would def. help....

EVERY SINGLE TIME!
Do you notice an increase in the need for subs when it's a gloomy day? Or, on Fridays or Mondays?
