Best: We put my new faux mantel in the living room and Schuyler got a fantastic haircut.
Worst: Our tree fell over TWICE in 24 hours. We finally anchored it to the wall. Ugh. And dh is out of town for the week.
Best: 2 fun Christmas parties Saturday and putting the tree up yesterday.
Worst: DH somehow throwing his back out and having to lay flat for most of the day yesterday. Today he is feeling better though.
Best: DH having an EXCELLENT interview (being told to go celebrate after by the hiring manager) at his DREAM job in ATL.
Worst: Waiting for the official offer/trying to figure out details here, although this is a worst I am happy to have to be dealing with
Best: Getting almost all my Christmas shopping done. Finding the perfect secret santa gift for my BIL.
Worst: DH ruining my secret Santa gift by telling the person i got them something awesome.
Best - Having a great Friday night, consisting of some very delightful sexytimes, followed by Target and dinner with friends. Saturday was also awesome, since we slept late, had more sexytimes, I cleaned a bit, and then we had a romantic dinner at the Lodge at Callaway Gardens, followed by the Christmas lights. Sunday was also lovely in that we slept in, and then had a 3 hour brunch with a friend and her husband whom I hadn't seen in a couple years .Then we put up our first Christmas tree as a couple. BF was being really sweet and romantic about it all. ::sigh:: I loves him so much.*
Worst - not getting some homework done that I needed to get done.

Ok, so this will be a best/worst of the past week at WDW.
Best: being on vacation and spending quality time with DH sans his BlackBerry, an evening at Jellyrolls dueling pianos bar, only being sick enough to take pain killers twice (I'll call that a plus since it could have been worse!), now being in the mood for the holidays after being immersed in it and having the tree up, loving my new lens and taking lots of pics
The Best of the Best: finally getting a picture with Santa Claus for my Mom. I was terrified of mall Santas as a child and wouldn't even go near them. My Mom always commented on how I was the only one of her kids without a picture with Santa. Well, we were at Downtown Disney and DH noticed that (amazingly) there was no line for Santa. I'm going to get it printed and framed as a special gift for her. She will love it!
The Worst: ugh, the screaming kids. I don't know what it was this year, but all the screamers were out in full force. Yes it's WDW and it is expected, but holy cow it was worse this time. Maybe we were always at the wrong place at the wrong time or the weather or something, but man! I'm not talking about whining or crying... I mean SCA-REAMING! The weather was really wonky and the 10-day forecast lied. It was hot at first and then got really cold on Weds. I couldn't take it anymore and bought a sweatshirt on Friday. My jacket wasn't cutting it!
Best: yesterday amazing brunch followed by driving around the mountains shopping for pottery, gifts, etc. with DH and my parents, followed by an awesome dinner at our favorite restaurant at the lake - they threw a "closing" party and won't be open again until the spring....so much delicious food!!!
Worst: not sleeping well for most of the weekend
Best: Fun bike race on Sunday. Dinner with some girlfriends on Sat. and a fun bike team Christmas party.
Worst: It was the last race of the series. I will miss cyclocross. Thankfully, we have a winter series in January.

Best: Doing some christmas shopping. FSU going to the ChikFila Bowl.
Worst: Spent way too much money. DH being sick. The Noles losing to VA Tech
best: getting lights put on the banister and the dogwood in the yard...it looks soooo good!!
worst: getting on the roof and adjusting those lights (yes, we've had them up since last year, DH and i both don't do heights well, and our friend who helped put them up and take them down the past 2 years broke his foot, then ended up in the hospital, so they've stayed up). we found out most of them don't work now =( so we've either gotta shell out for more LEDs, or skip the roof lights this year.

Ditching the BB in the room safe is a stipulation of vacation and he is quite happy to do so. It is strictly forbidden outside of the room and we carry just my iPhone. All of our friends/family know to call me if they need to reach us while on vacation. He did have a few work calls via my phone from one of his guys while we were on a boat/bus (which were fine), but no clients nor his boss have that number.
I LOVE this idea, however, I really doubt I will ever get DH to do this...
best: buckhead diner was yummy, snuggling to keep warm with dh
worst: having to pay attention to every dime we spend
Adventures of A Girl and Her Apron
Best: Dinner and a movie with DH on Friday, plus time with mom on Saturday as we did some shopping.
Worst: Finding out AFTER I ordered the perfect gift for DH that it might not arrive in time for Christmas.
