Ah, I did not share any stories yet. It was fine. A little awky at first when the lunatic arrived bearing loaves of Bob Evans pumpkin bread. Eek. I managed to maintain a safe distance and didn't even talk to her. Any time her circle approached my circle I scooted away. She made several lame attempts at jokes during the introductions but they all fell flat.I think a lot of the girls were unhappy she decided to come.
At the end of the night she was sitting in front of the dip I brought so one of my friends took a bullet for me and went to get my dish (I'm good at avoiding people, clearly). I heard her kid started a 104 fever that night but she stayed, I guess to prove a point. If that were my kid I'd be home in a jif, but whatever.

Wow, she does deserve the bad mother badge. I am sorry for my own personal entertainment there was not much more drama, but for you I am happy.
I looked at your local board last night to see if there was any talk of drama. I laughed at her response to your "what's for dinner this week?" post. She's horrified by Bob Evans, but two of her meals this week are going to be fast food.
Uh yeah. That's crazy. Perhaps the fever was exaggerated for dramatic effect? If not, I judge her hard. No way would I be hanging around eating cookies if my kid had a 104 fever. For that matter, if my husband had a 104 fever, I'd have been getting my butt home. Even an adult shouldn't be taking care of themselves in that state.
