I got him for my 12th birthday, so he was pretty old.  He's lost weight the past two years, and I was at my parents for dinner (my parents have both my & my sisters cats since they'd be sad separated). Pepper was curled in a corner and didn't run away when Zoe started petting him, like he normally would.  He walked over to get a drink of water and had to lay down because he was too tired. It was so sad. 

My parents took him to the vet and his kidney's were failing.  He's in heaven now. I'm sad and I know my dad's going to be sad.

RIP Pepper
