St Nicholas celebration at school

Here's Matt feeding the white horse I didn't have to steal.

Please take careful note of the boots.

Re: St Nicholas celebration at school

  • awww you made those kids so happy!
  • I love the look on his face!  You never see adults make that face.  It's a damn shame.

I can't tell what his boots are.

  • That's awesome!  I love his squinting mixture of joy and uncertainty like "hey mom I did it! Is my hand still there, I'm afraid to look. Okay we're good"
  • I know cali, and that little exhilarated giggle - I could watch it a million times over. Maybe someday I can use that video to lecture him on appreciating the little joys in life. Ha!

His boots are on backwards. For the most part they have to dress themselves there. Hence....backwards frog boots.

  • they have that boot design in adult socks
  • The horse was so gentle too. A couple times a kid would be squatting down to pick up food he had dropped, the horse would drop his head and just nuzzle right next to the kid's cheek. Gah! So cute. And he smooched one little guy right on the lips. The little boy was sort of taken aback and then just started giggling, he loved it.

  • Ha! So cute. I love the backwards boots.

Every now and then Lorne puts Will's shoes on him backwards.

  • Also, I had to take his hat off because he pulled it down too far over his eyes and was walking around with his head tilted back so he could see. hahaha

I was holding the dog's leash so I hadn't had a chance to put it back on him.
