Halloween

Is anyone gonna dress up????   DH is going to be a grim reeper(sp?)  I though since he was going to scare the kids that I would be something nicer like a fairy.  I told him that when the kids walk up I can throw glitter on them and call it my fairy dust!!!

Re: Halloween

  • I think I will dress up and be a Jedi!  DH doesn't care about Halloween at all and will not participate :-(.
  • We are going to be out of town this year for Halloween so we are not dressing up. But next year I want to be a tooth fairy so bad! Just have to find the perfect costume.
  • We are going to a halloween party.  DH is going to be the Joker in the nurse dress from The Dark Knight.  I am going as a goth Raggedy Ann.
  • We are going to a party on the 1st and are dressing up as The Tennis Pro (dh) and the Married Student (me).  But i'm going to a party without him on Monday (dh will be in California) so i have no idea what i'm going to be!!

Jamey, I love the Joker in the nurse dress.  My brother is going to be the Joker as well but i haven't even thought about the nurse outfit :)

  • I'm going to be Mia Wallace from Pulp Fiction. Ryan might dress up as Bill Lumbergh from Office Space or Dwight Schrute from the Office.

  • Those are some great ideas, I love the Mia Wallace idea.

DH and I will be dressing up, I'm just not sure what yet.

  • DH is very excited about his costume.
  • Yeah, if I were a guy, that's totally who I'd be this year. I suggested it to a friend, but no one I know would go for it. :(

  • I'm not dressing up - but I'll be up in Philly on Halloween for my niece's first Halloween, so I'm super excited to go Trick-or-Treating with her.  Well...that, and eat her candy!!!
  • DS is going to be a monkey..I really want to find some extra small brown or black wings so I can dress up a like a witch...any ideas on where to find them? I looked at Party City...need to look online...wonder if shipping would be outrageous at this point...
  • I am going to be Ugly Betty, gotta take advantage of my braces one last year.  DH is not too excited about dressing up, so I may go to the party by myself.

Heather, look at the Dollar Tree, I know they have had wings in the kids toys section before, you could paint or dye them black.

  • I'll be out of town this year up in Gatliburgh but I wish I was getting to dress up.  This will be the first year we would probably have trick or treaters because all the houses on our street now have owners....maybe next year :)
  • I love Halloween!  But, I'm not dressing up this year - I just have no motivation.  And I just realized that the Halloween costume I bought for Jenna last year (way before she was born, but it was 70% off, is for a newborn, so it won't even fit her....)  Not sure what to do!
  • love me some halloween...i haven't dressed up in so long...

i have always wanted B to wear his uniform and help me pass out candy....and especially when we lived in dothan and he brought his patrol car home...so many kids wanted to "see the car", but he never got into doing that on halloween....

  • nothing. we have no place to go and no kids in the neighborhood to give candy to.

what a boring life i lead.

  • If you can call my Walmart tee shirt dressing up then I will. I really miss the way we did Halloween when the kids were little. I dressed up too. Our old house really made Halloween even more fun. We scared the H*** out of a lot of people.
