As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Who wants to do some detective work with me?
In the name change post below...lots of new posters with low post counts. I'm wondering what message board it got C&Ped to.
Given the responses, it reminds of the "the name who shall not be named" who posted on relationships a few months back. Fun times!

As for me, I get a weekly email from The Nest Community News that lists a few of the more high volume message board columns. If I see something that catches my eye, I click the link to it. I don't come on here otherwise though. The name change post was at the top of the list of today's email, so I'm guessing that is why there are so many people posting on that one.
I bet this is exactly what it was, I've seen this happen before on an old post. I went to find it and it exploded a week after it was posted.

Doglove - your dog is BEAUTIFUL!! Love it! Did you get him/her as a puppy?
this is probably it, but also that particular nestie has become infamous on some boards for her ideals. particulary when she likened having a baby to buying a dog from a breeder. she believes bearing a child is the most selfish thing someone can do and that everyone should adopt (likened to adopting a shelter dog). and also when she eventually adopted a dog, returned it, and immediately got another dog. she has been around for awhile with various sn's and a not so good reputation.
