If you have any spare good thoughts
Today is my dad's 3rd eye surgery. They are going to be taking the oil/gel out of his eye to see if the retina reattached and is secure. If this doesn't work then he's going to be blind in his right eye permanently.
On top of hoping the retina surgery goes well, he's developed a cataract in the eye. It's a known side effect of a detached retina and the surgery. So then in a month he'll have another surgery with a different doctor for the cataract.
So if you have any spare good thoughts I could use them. My dad has been awesome throughout this though and says that at 60 if this is the worse he faces, then he's lucky.

Thanks everyone! I talked to my mom and she said the surgery went well. They won't know much about the eye until tomorrow when they take the bandage off and take a better look.
