Re: TTT
We are doing pretty well. She has become rather fussy in the last few days - I'm not sure if it's gas or what, but the pediatrician's office said to try Mylicon drops, so we're going to get some today and see if that helps. She sleeps so little, I can't believe it! Yesterday she was awake all day except for a 3 hr nap in the afternoon, then she slept off and on during the night. I think she gets tired but just can't fall asleep. So we're all a bit exhausted right now, but overall we're doing OK. And the breastfeeding is actually going great now - we're both got the hang of it and no more soreness. I ordered a pump and hope to start pumping in a couple weeks so DH can help with the feeding sometimes.
So thoughtful of you to ask about us - thanks!
Yay new mommy! It sounds like you guys are hanging in there. I am glad that nursing is going well for you and the soreness is over!! Good luck with the Mylicon drops. They really worked well for DS. I did also find that he was fussy during growth spurts (usually around 3 weeks and 6 weeks). Imo growth spurts are a little more pronounced when moms nurse, so maybe sst is just going through that? DS would have lots of fussiness, wakefulness, and eating like a mad person for a few days and then miraculously the spurt was over.
I hope you get some sleep soon!
ditto this... growth spurts at 3, 6, 9 weeks and 3, 6, 9 months... sleepless, cranky, eating like a fiend!
so glad that the breastfeeding is going well... it can be really empowering, knowing that you're keeping your little one so healthy!
the first few months are rough - sleepless, blurry - but you'll get through them. Promise.
I am the 99%.
glad to hear its going well. sleep sst! mommy needs some zzz's!!
