This is going to make me sound REEEEEEEALLY dumb, but whatever. Ok, so I just went and lurked on the Getting Pregnant board just for the hell of it. Um, I'm apparently WAAAAAY blonder than I thought because I had no clue what half of that crap means. Apparently, my Sex Ed classes sucked because "I don't know nothin bout birthin no babies".
7DPO? Two week wait? CD1? What the hell does that mean? I always thought you just put P in V and ta-daaaa!! Baby.
Re: KTFU ?s
ROFL! I just got done pounding out my "vent" on your other post, so when I opened this one up, I got a great laugh and the stress wrinkles just melted off my forehead!
I have no idea what any of that stuff means either, so I'm glad you asked.
Most of it has to do with charting.
CD1 = Chart day 1
7DPP is 7 days past ovulation
Two week wait is when you are waiting to test after ovulation
I was really lost at first too!
I didn't go to the Getting Pregnant board very often, but I do know that 7DPO=7 days past ovulation. If we would have been planning I may have visited that board more often, but I'm cluless as to what the others mean. I'll take a guess as to what the others could mean:
Two week wait=the wait between your ovulation day and when you should either start/miss your period??
CD1=chart date 1?
I want to put my P in your V
I have no idea what any of it means lol. Whenever we're ready to start trying I'll go off my bcp and we'll just keep trying till we get it right
. No charting for me!
You've heard what I've done, not what I've been through.
If you were in my shoes, you'd fall the first step."
That sounds about right to me.
I just went to the doctor at the end on November to get off bc and this is exactly what she told me. We do not plan on charting. We want it to happen the old natural way.

See I wouldn't be worried if we did it as much as you guys do, but we don't...we just don't have high sex drives, so this may be good for us! lol

Same here. We're once a dayers
I plan on charting when I go of BC in January simply for my own benefit. I have been on BC since I was 17 and have no idea what MY cycle is. We aren't going to TTC until May or so. I just want to chart for a few months to get to know "my body" better I suppose (As gay as that sounds HAHAHA!). And as a TTA maneuver while I'm off BC waiting to start TTC.
If I don't mind it, I might just keep doing it for the hell of it. I'm not concerned about humping (as Hay likes to say) on cue... But if we do have any trouble conceiving, it will be nice to have a history of charts to start from.
Bahahahah, I've already had my daily hump today and it's only 8:30AM. You ladies need to step your game up!!! haha
