The typo was on purpose. We've never done hear for here so why not?
I am home, I am bored. I don't want to clean, read, watch movies, surf, or call any of my friends. I am generally malcontent. Entertain moi please.

Re: Is anyone hear?
I am not the hair straightener girl sadly. I have pretty straight hair and spend all my time trying to make it wavy and hide the gray. :-(

I have a chi that I love. A good shampoo/conditioner is also vital for keeping your hair straight and unfrizzy.
I'm here and finishing grading all of my students' final projects. I'm starting to go cross eyed.
RosenReady do you still like that baby?

I did love it. Sometimes now I wonder why I still watch it. And then Blair and Chuck look at each other with smoldering eyes and I'm like "oh, that." But it doesn't happen enough anymore, dammit!

This is my current favorite.

It's made a huge difference in the texture of my hair.
I don't know how far you're willing to go in this hair straightening endeavor but I have the dryer that TSD recommends, and it is fabulous as well. If your hair is just curly but not very thick, it may not be an issue. Mine takes FOR-EV-ER to dry, and this cut my time in half.

While I am asking questions.
I adopted this a big dog this spring.... Hairy, sheds like crazy, has goopy eyes, and bad knees (clearly I win the adopt a dog award ha) anyway she is a picky eater. The only thing she likes is Ole Roy. I know, disgusting. She has really bad dandruff and I think it may be from the food. What do you guys use/like. I am willing to spend money for good dog food. She just likes the Ole Roy the best.

Funny Buddha, that is what I just bought her tonight. She wouldn't eat it. You ladies have fixed all hair problems dog and humans alike! Well once I buy the straightener and get her to eat!
also i want to kiss ethans cheeks! he is a cutie!
I have really thick/curly hair and didn't like the chi. I felt like it wasn't wide or sturdy enough to tame my rats nest. I stick with the Remington Wet2Straight which is a whopping $20 at CVS and walmart. I don't use it on wet hair ever but I'm lazy and it straightens really quick, and large sections at a time.
If your pup has really dry/flaky skin, you could try Grizzly Salmon Oil along with a food change. It has been a LIFE SAVER for us this time of year when the dogs skin gets dried out from the heat coming on. My dogs have insanely sensitive stomachs so they get pretty bland tasteless food but we fed our last dog Orijen and had great results on it.
I have the same flat iron as TSD...the Hai. I found it on amazon for far less than anywhere else. I also use the T3 hairdryer from Bespoke labs. It is wonderful and it dries my hair without frying it. Bespoke also makes a straightener, but I love my Hai.
When my parents were breeding and showing dogs, we used either cod or salmon oil in the dogs food during the winter and it helped their coats. We also made plain rolled oats oatmeal for them when it got really cold and that helped immensely.
Mod - Eh, she's ok. She's cute and all, but most afternoons I would sell her to gypsies if given the opportunity. She's quite a fussbudget. I've started to get happy coos and smiles that look like they might be intentional, though, so I guess I'll keep her for a while. In all seriousness, the hours of screaming are rough, but she sleeps really well at night (*knock on wood*).
SB- Agreed 100% about Gossip Girl. Every time I'm ready to give up, they throw in some more of Ed Westwick's smoldery eyes, and I'm hooked again.
Keep knocking on wood. I used to have one of those good sleepers. Not that he is as bad as some, but he used to be better.
On the plus side, I used to have a fusser, and now he is seriously the happiest baby ever. Even through teething.
Enjoy the coos. They seriously make it all better. I think they kick in just about the time you start to think you were crazy for procreating and they make those thoughts go away.
For less then ten cents a day, you can feed a hungry child.
I feel like my earlier post was excessively Debbie Downer. We're doing pretty well, on the whole, I think. And she's always an angel in public--saves the screaming just for me. And my husband is amazing with her. I really think my favorite part of motherhood is seeing him as a father.
Exackery. Now get with the picture posting or I'm calling CPS to tell them you're an unfit mother.

Ditto Mod. Or pour on a little warm low-sodium chicken broth. It'll stink but dogs go gaga for it.
Ol' Roy makes me shudder. Rumor on the street is that it has SAW DUST in it.

You will notice a HUUUUUUUUUUUUGE difference in your dog if you jump from Ol' Roy to Nature's Balance or something like it. (We feed Solid Gold Barking At The Moon and my guys love it.) Picky eaters will eventually get hungry and they'll eat, especially with the tricks above.
Does your dog eating Ol' Roy poop a ton? That food is mostly fillers and barely nutritious so I would guess that your poop output will go down by at least half if not more. Yay!
eta: Ditto the fish oil comments too. That helps dry skin a bunch.
