Terrible or Terrific Tuesday?
Hi Ladies! I was out of commission yesterday; that cold/flu that's been floating around our office was slowly rearing its ugly head and I let it go ahead and come in over the weekend. I was tired of feeling iffy for weeks. I got lots of rest yesterday (I was home sick from work) and feel a TON better today minus a little sniffly nose & occasional cough.
How's everyone doing today?
So far my Tuesday seems alright; I hear that yest was not a good day at the office, so I'm sure that will work its way back around again. Hope ya'll have a wonderful day!

My day has been okay so far. Nothing too exciting! I hope its a fast one!
FREEZING! It's like a freaking icebox in my part of the office. That and I apparently shut off my alarm clock at some point in the night, so I woke up 45 minutes later than usual, rushed around like a mad woman trying to get out the door on time, made it out only three minutes late, only to get stuck in a ridiculous amount of traffic on the northeast side of 275, making me 40 minutes late to work, anyway. Not that it matters, but it was a DUSTING. Come ON people, a DUSTING! Oh, and I'm not even thinking about the Jets getting their asses handed to them last night.
On the terrific side, we're going to meet up with some Craigslist woman tonight and hopefully buy Charlie a massive Brio train set for christmas relatively cheap.

Good day so far. I just finally got rid of my own sickies - I'm a little extra mucusy, but minus the aches/lethargy/general "sick" feeling. I ran 4 miles and it felt great. I still HATE the cold but I really like running in it.
Nothing too bad as far as work scheduled today (although it's the unscheduled stuff that always makes it interesting....), and I just took a practice simulation for the exam I'm taking in a week, and I passed it. So I'm about to go off to work in a good mood. Yay!
Plus, while I was sick all weekend, I did manage to get half my Christmas shopping done (including all of H's gifts) from my computer!
How did that dr's appt go yest?? I've been waiting to hear!!
I'm always freezing! My boss moved the thermostat that controls the heat for my office, his office, my bathroom, and the hallway into his office about a year ago and that means I'm no longer allowed to move the temperature. I hate it b/c he has all the heat (bigger office and has 2 large vents where I have one tiny one) and I have to run a crappy space heater all day to stay frigid. Grr!!
Today is so so. I am exhausted today. H didn't make it home till 11ish last night, but his friend he was with felt the need to text me every twenty minutes from 9:30 on, so I couldn't sleep until he got home. When he did get home, he was a snoring machine.
However, I got to see my friend and her baby last night which puts me in a great mood
I can actually see through my piles to my desk, too. If I can find my motivation hat and put it on, I could possibly have them all cleared by the end of the day, make it to the gym, and be home before 7. Just gotta find where I put that hat...
Aww thanks for asking! It went well. I was kinda bummed I didn't get an u/s but they confirmed I was pregnant then gave me LOTS of information. I go back Jan 7th to hear the heartbeat!!!
