President's Challenge??

Is anyone still logging their activity?

I'm excited because I should hit my 20,000 points for a bronze award this week :)

Oh, and ever since my doctor cut my calories from 1600/week to 1200/week last week I lost 7 lbs. I doubt that's right, but that's what the scale told me yesterday morning!! I'll take it.

Yeah, 1200/day. It's crappy. BUT, because of the PCOS, I don't process food the same way as a "normal" person...so I need less to get by on.

On my workout days I'm going to have to eat back some of the calories though, since on average I'm burning 600 calories in my workouts. And I starve!!

  • wow! i cant imagine eating that little, but hey, go you!

I should hit 20k this week too. I basically didn't work out all of november - post season blues, then sick - so its been slow lately.

you definately need to eat what you're burning.

I don't understand what it is about PCOS that screws with metabolism - one of my friend's sisters has serious issues, and its taken her years to lose 70 lbs (she's still 70ish overweight). She eats so well, is fit, but her body just holds on. she's had all these panels done too, thyroid etc. its crazy.

Me either...and it's terrible! I was able to maintain a healthy weight when I was on BCPs, but then when I went off, it was like .. here, have 50 extra pounds. UGH. It's so frustrating.
