What kind of present wrapper are you?
Do you use boxes and wrapping paper or bags and tissue paper?
Do you use different wrapping for each person or does your wrapping paper all match/coordinate or is it a hot mess of everything?
Re: Christmas Poll #3
I am OCD about everything.
All my paper and bows match. They even match the tree.
Everything is red and silver. I typically only use bags on things that are shaped odd.
That's funny angi! But I bet it's beautiful!
We're a hodge-podge mixed-matched mess of stuff! Boxes, bags, tissue paper, whatever paper I bought on sale after Christmas last year. Some have bows...some don't. Whatever...as long as it's wrapped we're happy. And it doesn't even have to be wrapped well!
However, one year I wrapped all of the "Santa" gifts to my kids in specific paper to that child...oldest was all blue paper, middle child got all reindeers, youngest was some santa paper. Made distributing the mess of gifts Christmas morning much easier! Especially when they were too young to read names.
All of the above. I reuse gift bags like crazy and really like the decorator boxes like they sell at Hobby Lobby.
It is usually a hot mess of styles. Alex gets "kiddie" paper. My SIL does all coordinating and it looks amazing, but I'm not that organized yet.
That is SO me too!
And even when we put bows on, the cats pull them off. And corners of boxes are usually chewed too... haha!!
Santa always used to wrap my brother & my presents in specific papers too.

I use boxes if the gift needs a box, like clothes, towels, etc... Or if the gift is odd and cannot be wrapped well enough in its original packaging I will put it in a box. I use tissue paper.
I use the same wrapping paper for every single gift. I use bows, but I use coordinating fabric ribbon because it looks nicer. I use fancy gift tags. I like everything to match. I should post a picture of my creations. I think I have more fun wrapping sometimes.
I do use gift bags too, but only for really, really off gifts that cannot be wrapped as is and won't fit into a box.
I use what ever is needed. I like to make the gifts to adults look nice, however the gifts to children don't look as nice (no bow, cheaper wrapping paper). I spend quite a while wrapping and making the adults gifts look pretty. I use what ever wrapping paper I got on clearance the year before.
For Christmas I generally use paper unless it's hard to wrap, then I use gift bags. My paper always coordinates but does not always match the tree. Last year I did blue and silver and this year I have the traditional red and green. The only thing that doesn't usually match is the dogs gifts... (yes, I buy my dogs presents and wrap them) I usually buy nicer heavy paper for people gifts but I don't want to waste the good paper on the dogs so I either use whatever was left over from the year before or grab a roll of the cheap stuff.
I also put ribbon and bows on everything except the dogs presents.
Ill only do gift bags for the things that are shaped odd and are a p.i.t.a to wrap. But everything else is wrapped. I try and do coordinating papers and ribbons for "adults" and then the kids get kiddie paper.
I remember growing up me and my brothers always had a different print of paper that was "designated" to us.
I do boxes and paper...but horrible at it! By the time I'm done, it looks like it was done by a 6 year old!
