Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Any Nook people?
I know a lot of you have Kindles but I got a Nook for Hannukah and LOVE it.
Is there anyone else who has it or know of any websites that aren't Barns and Noble to download from?

Any site that sells epubs that use Adobe Digital Editions for the DRM can be used on a Nook. So that includes Borders and Sony and (I think) fictionwise. You can't use iBooks.
You can read PDFs and EPUBs from your public library if it has Overdrive ebooks.

I have the Nook on my Christmas list because my library has ebooks that can go on it. Have you checked with your library yet? I like that route because library = freeeeeee! :-)
Kidz, my MIL is a librarian in Houston and then have a huge selection of free books. She just emailed me info to use so I can download them.
New Orleans library doesn't have real books so I doubt they have caught up with the Ebooks.
They might. St. Tammany has them.
I just moved near the Rose Keller Library in Broadmore which is still an empty shell. They do have a trailer of books though. I shouldn't assume though..
