Poll: Holiday Mixer Gifts
I am hosting a holiday mixer at my house this weekend and I was thinking that maybe I should do some small gifts for the first person that arrives, last person that arrives, maybe the first person that says Christmas, you know something along those lines. The gifts would be inexpensive gifts like Christmas scented candles, Holiday scented soaps from Bath and Body Works and Christmas oranaments....
So good idea or bad idea? All Comments are welcome.
TIA

Re: Poll: Holiday Mixer Gifts
The last thing I want is more cheap crap I can't use. I just loaded up 2 boxes to take to goodwill of candles and decorations other people gave me. Not everyone wants the bath stuff either.
Spend the extra $20 on food or put it in a red kettle.
It's a cute idea. Maybe food would be better than other gifts - food is more likely to be used.
For our holiday cocktail party this weekend, I'm making little holiday bags filled with decorated cut-out sugar cookies. It's just a little thing - only 2-3 cookies fit in each bag. I was just going to put them in a Christmas basket on the table in our entryway so people can each take one on their way out. More like a party favor than a gift, really.
