I love my H but...
He does not know how to carve up a bird! lol.
Round 1 was Ted vs. the Thanksgiving bird - bird won
Round 2 was Ted vs. the roasted chicken dinner - bird won.
He is now 0 in 2.
::sigh:: At least they both taste awesome even if they weren't perdy.

Haha, same goes for my DH.
Last Thanksgiving at my aunt's house, DH was the only guy there so my aunt volunteered him to carve the turkey... poor DH, he'd never handled a turkey in life, let alone under the watchful eyes of his future in-laws.
He did an okay job, but we made sure to register for an electric carving knife so that he could practice.
You should watch BJ try to carve a turkey, he's left handed and hopeless.
My mom has one of those electric craving things too and she swears by it!
He's a dude. No job is ever too small for a giant knife.
