Both my sister and SIL love REI (both registered there for their weddings) and I am kind of stuck on X-mas ideas for them. Any suggestions on fun things to buy there? Since the registered there, they have all of the basics so I am looking for something fun and gift that you would not buy for yourself but really really want. Something around $50 price range or lower would be nice.
Thanks!

Re: REI lovers - Q for you
Headlamps! I got mine as a gift a few years ago and although it's not something I would have purchased on my own, I really love it (and it's super useful).

Good idea with the headlamp! I have the Black Diamond Spot and it's a pretty rockin headlamp. I recently upgraded from my old one to it.
We backpack and camp a lot and this chair is totally awesome for both:

Wool socks are another favorite of mine, I can never have enough (I also wear them everyday in the winter).
My sister and her husband live in Seattle so they like to hike and they bike every where.
My SIL and her husband live in Davis CA so they bike every where as well, and also like to go camping.
I know my sister has a headlamp, but not sure about SIL and husband.
OMG, those chairs scare me. I can totally see myself doing something silly like sitting at the top of a hill and rolling backwards or something.
I agree with the wool socks - I have a pair of the REI ones on right now....so warm!
A hammock, but that wouldn't work so well if they're backpackers.
They have some fun coffee table photo books, too. That's definitely something I wouldn't buy for myself but would love. You could also look for book of hiking trails or campgrounds in the areas they like. I always love reading through them in the winter and dreaming about summer trips.
Tired after a long morning of hiking and swimming.
You could always just get 2 of these & a nice bottle of wine.

What about a Camlbak??? DH and I love ours and use ours for hiking and mountain biking.
These are on REI outlet and for the next day or so you get 20% off of one item on their outlet site.

I've had my share of falls on this chair (usually when alcohol's involved :-) ), but you are so close to the ground it's no biggie :-) They are super comfy and only weigh around 18oz!!!
