Re: i got christmas cards!
You've heard what I've done, not what I've been through.
If you were in my shoes, you'd fall the first step."
haha. DH never checks the mail anyway, but I told/showed him and he was just like, "oh, cool."
I have a ton of previous knot/nest friends because when we were originally getting married in Austin in September 2009, I made a ton of local friends off the Austin knottie board (actual friends, with GTGs and exchanging wedding gifts and we chat regularly offline haha). I think he is used to it now even though he made fun of my "knot (not) friends" at first.

I got misty's yesterday too!!!
Come on vistaprint, hurry up! I want to send xmas cards!!!
haha awwww I'm so excited!
Do you guys have to pay tax on stamps in the States? (Is that a dumb question?) Because it's the freaking tax that drives the cost up so much!! I was literally dumbfounded when the woman at the post office gave me my total. Our taxes here are SOOOO high.
No tax on stamps here. That sucks that you have to pay that!
That does stink! We pay $0.44 for a regular stamp for 1 oz. which covers most cards and basic letters. It goes up with weight and non-standard sizes. It was $0.75 for the postage to Canada so even if I was sending them all across the border, it would've been $36 for all 50 cards. They are raping you with taxes on the postage - total bummer!
I got Kelly's I will check the mail for more. I am still working on mine I hope to have them done by Saturday so I can get them in the mail.
J - We don't pay taxes on stamps the prices are what is marked on the stamp!
Bernie asked about Kelly! I just said she is one of my girls! He laughed and said of one of the Nesties!
Ugh, I am SO jealous about the no tax on stamp thing! Roar. Stupid Canadian postal service.
And I haven't gotten any mail since Thursday or Friday of last week, and I KNOW that it's because our mail mail just isn't delivering it! I'm like 100% positive that he only comes three days a week, regardless of whether we have mail or not.
LOL I feel famous!
HH apparently did not check the mail while I was working my bizarre shift yesterday, so I guess I need to put clothes and boots on and trek to the mailbox to see if I have anything good out there.
I got Kelly and Misty's in the mail yesterday, too! YAY! Kevin checks the mail but he leaves Christmas cards for me to open. He even texted me and told me that I had two Nestie cards to open when I got home! =D
I dropped mine in the mail yesterday so you should all be getting them soon.
Except J. =( That really sucks that you have to pay tax on stamps. And that your mail man is an a-hole. And that it takes forever to get things to Canada. I'm just sorry in general.
OOOOOH I know!!!! Move to the states! =D
