So... I have about a bazillion co-workers (pretty much all of them doctors, NP's and PA's who make a LOT more money than I do). I always feel obligated to get everyone a gift of some sort for Christmas. I realize this is not supposed to be an "obligation" type of thing, but you know how awkward it is to receive a gift form someone and not be able to give one in return.
So... last year I gave everyone a bottle of wine. Easy, but not exactly inexpensive (we're talking like 30-40 co-workers... ugh... makes me nauseous thinking about it).
This year, I am trying to save for a house AND pay for my own wedding. The bottle of wine is just not happening. I am looking for something easy, inexpensive and thoughtful that I can feel good about giving everyone.
Any ideas?
I was thinking cookies or fudge or something like that, but just not really sure. People seem to bake so much around the holidays that they are not too excited to receive MORE food.
Help?!?!?

Re: Inexpensive Christmas Gift Ideas
I love food gifts but instead of cookies or fudge why not do- choc covered pretzles or some other snacky thing- maybe a dip or something
As part of my packages to my family, I'm going to make these cinnamon roasted almonds:

My coworker makes them each year for us (in one of those small holiday treat bags) and they are to die for.
I second chocolate covered pretzels - get store brand bags of mini twists and a few bags of candy melts from ac moore or michaels. You should be able to find cute treat bags from a dollar store or craft store and tie them with a ribbon. Make them personal by making cute tags with craft paper and stickers if you want to jazz them up even more.
Another cool idea is to make candy bark. Some of my favorite combos are oreo and white chocolate, crushed candy canes and white chocolate, rice crispies mixed into milk chocolate, heath bar toffee pieces mixed into dark chocolate. All you have to do is buy candy melts, melt them, toss the candy/nuts/extras in, spread it out on a wax paper covered cookie sheet, freeze/chill until solid, and break into pieces.
Good luck!
You ladies ROCK!!!
I usually do some chocolate dipped spoons (so yummy to stir your coffee with) and/or pretzel rods, but I can certainly just package them all nice-nice with a ribbon and call it a gift!!!
Great idea!
LOVE the bark idea too! I usually make my own fudge, but I think bark would be awesome. I am definitely going to invest in some candy melts this weekend. Thank goodness I saved the AC Moore and Michaels adds from this past weekend. Love my 50% off!!!
