Atlanta Nesties
Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
So now that I have a new fridge, I need to get rid of my old one. I checked the AKS web site, and it does not look like they accept items of that size. Does anyone have another charity they could recommend? Thanks!
Re: Appliance donation
You can also post it on Freecycle if you just want to get rid of it. I'd also contact MUST Ministries in Cobb to see if they have clients that can use it.
http://www.satruck.com/donate-goods (Salvation Army will pick up if appliances are less than 10 years old.)
From a website:
United Way: 211 Information hotline
http://www.unitedwayatlanta.org
They will give you the names and numbers of agencies and charities that will take the kind of donations you have to give. They do not directly receive donations of items.
