we're ready to be parents!
....puppy parents that is!
The hubby and i are officially starting our puppy search, and this will be our first pet together EVER. We're really excited. We want a shih-poo (shih tzu poodle mix) because my dog from high school is a shih tzu and he wants a half poodle since he is semi-allergic to most breeds . 
It's kind of a big deal for us as we see it as sort of "practice" for a baby in the distant future...

Phil and I can't even commit to a pet right now. I get weirded out by having another personality in the house! LOL!

Both are potty trained and young (=/- 1 year old) and need a new home due to various circumstances. Please consider adoption before purchasing a puppy from a pet store or breeder. There are SO many dogs out there needing homes...

thanks ladies! we're still looking...it seems like we're consumed with looking for our new furbaby! hopefully we can find one by Christmas, but we don't wanna rush into it. I'm also keeping my eyes open on shelters, but DH is really wanting a baby puppy..
