Hey Ladies!
Hope everyone is doing well. I have been super busy at work and have decided not to nest during the workday anymore. I miss all your activity but I feel like I get a LOT more done. And I have a lot to do so it works.
Anyway, we adopted a new pup last weekend!! Walter is a ~3 y/o, 30 lb. Schnauzer mix. He is seriously like the dream dog - he is completely housetrained, he rarely barks, and he does not shed (although we don't notice with Lily's profuse shedding)!! He was turned into an outside dog at some point and just tied outside
When we got him he was really matted and pretty underweight. We have since had him groomed and gotten him some nice jackets/ coats and he is good to go! He is real smart too - he didnt' know "sit' or "lay down" or our favorite "go lay down" (Meaning go lay on your bed and stay) 10 days ago and now has them down pat!!
Since we got Lil as a pup she didn't ever have that "the dog knows you saved them" mentality. Walter really does - its so sweet. It literally breaks my heart that he was an outside dog because he LOVES people so much. And he and Lily get along amazingly well.
first bath (So trusting. we had known him for about 3 hours and i was all up in his sh!t!)

Re: Our new addition/ Get Muddy
..:: hi ! ::..
I saw your pictures on FB, I'm glad you changed his name. I think Walter is so much better ( also my great grandfathers name ) ... or he would've done well as an Arthur !
I'm glad he knows you saved him, but I'm sure Lily is your heart dog !
As far as Tough Mudder -- you are insane. No thank you, I wouldn't be ready for that if I trained for 1 year !
This exactly.

I love Walter! He is so adorable! And he makes Lily look so much bigger than I thought she was. Glad they're getting along and he seems to be a good fit!
