As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. I just called Express because I ordered two items on Thanksgiving and never got them, or any word about them, and online it doesn't say they're backordered.  The woman told me that they were so overwhelmed with orders that weekend, they haven't been able to keep up with a lot of things and they have had a lot of errors and haven't been able to send out notifications to everyone.

For example, when I look at my order online, it just says it was delivered and doesn't indicate that only 2 out of the 4 items were sent - although the shipping notification e-mail DID make that clear.  She said their website hasn't caught up.  When she said there had been a lot of errors, I mentioned that I had a friend who had a package sent to the wrong place and she said that unfortunately that's been happening, and that my friend should call Express.

So if you haven't sorted it out with FedEx yet, give Express a call - the woman I talked to was SO NICE.  She told me I could pick any two items from the site, within reason, and get 40% off on them to replace the two items that I didn't get (they are sold out). I was tempted, but decided it was a sign to save my wallet.

  • I finally called them last night.  They really screwed me over.  One item the cancelled.  Another went to the wrong place.  The other two are lost in limbo.    Two orders have merged and conflicting info.   arghhh

    I'm going to reorder some stuff, but it never occurred to me to ask for the coupon back.  Dammit.   I don't suppose she gave you a coupon code or anything?

    No, I would have had to order it on the phone with her right then, I think.  Maybe if I'd been interested she would have given me a code to use later, I'm not sure, but I told her to just cancel the two items that sold out and leave it.

    I just went and re-ordered.  They marked down the stuff I ordered even more plus I got $15 off. It came up to $20 less than before.

    I guess it was a blessing in really good disguise.
