Mail, a sauna, and Check Engine lights

So I stopped in the mail room this AM to ask the one nice guy (who I suspect may have a crush on me) if he would help me out with the mail delivery and bring the heavy boxes down to me since I'm about 5 months pregnant and can't really be hauling that stuff around...his eyes immediately shot to my belly (funny how that happens the second you tell someone you're pregnant - he usually sees me sitting behind my desk / printer so I guess it's not normally obvious). But sounds like they'll help me out so no more carrying heavy boxes like 500 feet from the mail room to my office.

It's still 100 degree in here, though. Blech....oh and my car's Check engine light came on this AM on my way in. DH is leaving for work today and won't be back until Thur night (he flew home from CA last night and flies out to another state today) so he's leaving me his car just in case and taking a cab to the airport.

I hope it's just something stupid like a sensor or whatever. Not something really expensive or annoying to fix....

  • Good for you for asking for help with boxes! There is no reason in the world you should be carrying anything over 10 pounds!! And boo for check engine lights! I hope it's nothing serious.

Same here - hope it's nothing serious

  • I am glad that you asked for help carring the boxes, you should not have to do it yourself.

You should bring in a small fan into work so your atleast have somewhat of a breeze coming in. .

Hope that the car does not need major work. Any kind of car trouble is always annoying.

  • I agree with everyone else.  Glad you got help with the boxes and I hope that there's nothing major wrong with your car!  Car issues SUCK!!
AlternaTickers - Cool, free Web tickers
  • I agree!!  I hope everything works out with your car.  Why does that always seem to happen at the worst times?
  • Melissa - I have 2 fans going in my office as it is!!!

Ugh. Yes, fingers crossed re: my car. Last thing I need right now is a big repair bill right before the holidays.
