First ultrasound
This morning, V and I got our first look at baby tootsie_pop (borrowed that one from Alix, lol.)
I was a little concerned because I got up to drink my water and then it all came up about half an hour before the appointment. But by some stroke of luck, my technician was late for work because of issues with the subway, so I had plenty of time to refill my bladder.
Everything looks good! She didn't tell us much because she needs to send the report to my doctor who will discuss it with us. But we did get to see the heartbeat. SO cute.
Baby is the left blob, sitting upright and facing to the right.

Re: First ultrasound
For a girl, we really like Zoe Catherine. Never thought I'd name my kid Zoe... I always thought I'd choose some pretty, girly name, but it's really grown on me. I keep picturing this spunky little girl and when people ask, "What's your name?" she replies, "ZZZOE!"
We're still thinking about boy names. Top of the list right now is Jeremy but I'm not sure that I love it. It's cute but maybe too boyish.
