How ungreatful can someone be?

So we do a secret santa in my office. We do this every year and every year the same people choose not to participate. Well, this year one of those people decides to do it. For some reason she does not like me. I never did anything to her. Although I have "made her cry" on a couple of occasions. It is not that I am mean, it is because I point out a mistake and ask her to correct them, just like I would ask anyone else. She is so quick to put blame on everyone else and will throw people under the bus all the time.

Last week she cornered another one of my co-workers and told them to tell me that if I have her for secret santa not to buy her anything because she does not want anything from me.

This hurt my feelings. I'm not letting anyone know that, but it does. I gave her a box of chocolates today and when she found out it was from me she threw it on the floor and said she doesn't want anything from me.

Seriously, how ungreatful can someone be? I'm being nice to you and you are being a total b*tch. Whatever, no skin off my back, just a vent.

what is she, two? the least she could do is throw it out once she leaves work etc if she is really going to act that age.

What a biitch. OMG, I can't believe someone would act like that. What does you boss say about her behavior? If your boss isn't aware of what is going on I think you should inform him/her.

It was really rude of her to do that, and I agree if she can't be gracious and accept the fact that you may end up as her secret santa then she shouldn't sign up... but I don't understand why you would give her something when she clearly said she didn't want anything from you?

You guys make me laugh. I have talked to her boss about it (we don't have the same boss). She seems to think that this "woman" walks on water and is always making excuses for her. I just try to steer clear of her as much as possible.
