Finally a real vacation!!
The final decision was just made last night that we are headed to San Diego the first week of January. It's my favorite city in the whole wide world and we haven't been back since our honeymoon (over 4 years now.)
This trip should be interesting though. We are taking the ILs with us. They have never been to the west coast so it should be fun. I've already set some guidelines with P to avoid arguments/issues while we're gone since he reverts back to a 10 year old when he's with his parents

You are much, much braver than I would be in that situation! I have a hard enough time maintaining a shred of sanity being around IL's for 5 hours let alone days at a time.
