What is the latest on the adoption? any news? decoration pics? names?

This may not be news, but I can't remember what I've posted and what I've not posted. We haven't discussed names yet. Partly because I feel like with the last one, we had a name picked out, which made the baby more 'real' to us and added to the pain of things not working out. I think. So this time I'm dragging my heels on names.
We're meeting the birthmom and her mother and sister on the 28th of this month. She asked that we be at the hospital when she delivers. We're tenatively meeting the birth father on the 28th as well, but it would be a separate meeting and we haven't gotten a firm confirmation on that.
The nursery has actually been finished since April. We had the room ready for the baby that was due in March, and we got the furniture but had not assembled it, but when the adoption fell through we shut the door and didn't go back in for about a month. By the end of April, we decided to put the room together, so it's done. I can't remember if I posted pictures, but I think I didn't because with all the nurseries that got play here for babies that were actually coming I didn't want to be all 'hey, here's the room that I made for the baby when I don't really know when it's coming, but I know it's coming someday.'
I felt a little bit like a real life NEYer doing that. Look, here's the cluster ring I have picked out, and I bought my dress and selected a florist. I sure hope our third date goes as well as I think it will.

Hmm well sorry I asked if your feeling wierd about it. I am just really excited for you! ha. I act like I know you! that will be interesting to meet the birth mother. My little sister is adopted and we never met any of her birth family in the process. I dont know how I would feel about it. We also had NO idea we were going to get her... Just a phone call out of the blue and poof, baby the next day. I dont know what would be more stressful, waiting and hoping it works out, or just getting a call and having to get everything ready so quickly.
Anyway good luck with everything I hope it turns out fabulous.

Jens, right now the nursery is filled with furniture from our spare room so we can peel wallpaper, but we'll have it back to normal for Christmas, so I'll take some pictures and post them in a couple of weeks.
