How did it go this am? I realized after your post you said mornings and I go evenings. I'm excited to see my results after the first week back, I weigh in tonight. Last time I did WW full forced I lost 70lbs. But sadly putost of it back on. I really like this points plus plan, I haven't felt deprived or on a diet all week.
Re: S/O-WW:shanwalk
the meeting went GREAT this morning. I feel like I'm armed with a lot of information and I'm trying to get familiar with the online system.
My goal is 40 pounds (which squeeks me into the healthy range)
But 50 would be incredible (and puts me right in the middle range of "healthy" for my height/age). I would be thinner than I was when I graduated college.
I'm really really hopeful this program will work. And I will work hard enough through the program to see results.
Good luck at your weigh in today!
One lady at my meeting lost 5 pounds her first weigh in!

I went this morning too and I think it looks like a great program. I am also getting used to the online system. I like that they start you with small goals, like 5% and then 10% of your weight. My issue is portion control, so I am already seeing how off I was in the amounts that I was eating.

Can I ask a dumb question? I'm kind of familiar with the WW system and points - but does it involve eating/drinking specific things WW recommends? Or is it more like austinmimi mentioned with portion control, and making sure you are within your points limits, while using your own food?
Yes, it's really about your own choices and how they fit into your allotted points. THey have recipes and cookbooks and things like that, but they are big on letting you choose. Also, just FYI, they have apparently changed their points system in the last few weeks, so it is a little different from before.
Thanks!! Curious mind wanted to know
