Favorite Holiday Movies

I have today off (woohoo), and decided to curl up on the couch and watch Love Actually.  Its so corny, but I love this movie!  I kind of want to veg all day and do a holiday movie marathon.

What's your favorite holiday movie, what should I watch next?

Re: Favorite Holiday Movies

  • Nat'l Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.

I also love The Family Stone for some reason. I can watch that everyday too.

I remember you said that last year...and I feel the same way.  I watched it twice so far this holiday season.

  • The Holiday is one that I like. Along with White Christmas and Holiday Inn.

  • I LOVE Love Actually! I also watch Little Women around this time even though it's not really a Christmas movie. I also like White Christmas and Polar Express.
  • White Christmas, Muppet Christmas Carol and Year Without A Santa Claus (Snow Miser! Stick out tongue)
  • Miracle on 34th Street (classic version) and Home Alone--it always gets me in the Christmas spirit ;)

  • Love Actually is also one of my favorites. I think Elf is really cute.

I've never seen The Family Stone.

  • I love Love Actually! I always have to watch the original Grinch and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer because I always used to watch those as a kid. DH and I both love the old movies too: Miracle on 34th St, Holiday Inn, White Christmas and It's A Wonderful Life. Home Alone and the original Santa Clause are good too. I'm kind of obsessed with Christmas movies. I've hijacked our netflix queue for the month of December- not sure if DH has noticed yet :)
