sad face - re: crockpot
I'm so sad.
Chris told me that my crockpot has a crack all the way up the side and across the bottom.
I don't know how long its been there. I love my crockpot, like love. We got it for a wedding gift, so it's almost 2 years old. That's not old for a crockpot, right?
There is no real reason for this post. I don't really want to keep using it, but Chris said it's fine. Who knows how many times i've used it with a crack in the bottom, but I've never noticed, and i'm usually the one to wash it- except this time.
What kind of crock pot do you have? How big? I don't know what kind mine is but it's 6 or 7qt. which I LOOOOVE!

Ha. If I didn't just ship it to Texas, I could sell you a cusinart crockpot that my mom AND I got for my sister's boyfriend.
Apparently we both got the same list and my sister thought we would consult before purchasing. (That little step was left out).
Argh.

You need to toss that crockpot - the crack = bacteria harboring risk. Ew.
I have a bigass black one that I love love love. I'd look for that in the store - bigass black crock pot.

mine was a big and black too (thats what she said) -- i have no idea what kind it was- i looked @ BBB and I don't see it. sad. i'm sure it's been replaced by now, that was 2 years ago.

That's sad, I know how you feel because I LOVE the crockpot we got as wedding gift. It's probably been the most used wedding gift so far! I just made a yummy meal in it yesterday in fact.
We have this Hamilton Beach one from Target, it's great! Holds a ton and I like programmable features and that it has 2 heat settings. We've used it a bunch in the past 7 months! It's on sale right now too.
