I'm sitting in the OR waiting room right now, Jeff's knee surgery should be done in 30-60 minutes, and then they said it would be another hour or so for him to wake up and recover. Thank goodness there's wifi in the waiting room, I just couldn't read my book anymore!
So how is everyone today?
Also - why are there pop-ups for The Nest/Knot now? All of them so far have been for citibank, and I think it's pretty darn annoying.
Re: Hey Guys!
ugghhh I hate waiting for people to get out of surgery. I have had to wait for my mom when she was going through alot of procedures and it's soooo boring.
I'm doing pretty good today except the place I have my furniture just called me and gave me a 10 minute lecture on how if I am 1 month late it goes on my credit and thats not good, blah blah. Thank you lady as if I don't know that, and then you call my work phone not even my cell first. Lovely and she talks to me like i'm a child, I sound VERY young on the phone I know but when people talk to me like that, I feel like they are talking down to me and it pisses me off.
On the bright side, H told me last night that we are going to New Orleans, LA for my birthday in April, I have never been, so i'm excited to go see all they have to offer. I have been looking at hotels this morning.
I hare when people are condescending on the phone! That's awesome about NOLA though
Waiting rooms suck. It's just SUCH a long time. There's some dumb soap opera on TV and at least two people are snoring loudly. Please, please, let it be over soon.
The clock barely moves when your waiting in there. You either have the people snoring or the constant cough-er/sneez-er. One time we had to be there at like 6 in the morning and I was so tired, I wish I could have slept but I was always afraid I would start to snore in the silent room. lol
Waiting rooms are terrible especially when other people are in them. I know, I know kinda hard to avoid but they're either snoring loudly, crying hysterically, got some family drama going on or something.
Hopefully, he'll be out of surgery soon and you'll be able to see him! GL with the waiting!
I'm doing good...ready for today to be over with so I can go home and finish unpacking. I'll be glad to be completely settled once again.
Earlier there was a crazy lady here who I am pretty sure was on drugs. She was looking for her son, saying he was scheduled for surgery. The receptionist was super nice and called all over the hospital looking for him, and kept saying that he wasn't in the system so she didn't think he was there. The lady was shouting that she took a day off of work and was really pissed off that they'd 'lost her son.' Finally the receptionist suggested the lady call her son's cell, and turns out he was hope asleep. It was really weird.
Instead of leaving right away, the lady sat down and had two cups of coffee. Extra weird.
P.S. The coffee is TERRIBLE, I just got some.
Also, the waiting room is almost empty but someone decided to sit right next to me anyway. I hate that.
Jeff is out of surgery - everything went well!!!
Now more waiting...
Glad to hear everything went well!
When we were waiting for my dad we were in the waiting room for six hours. We had to be at the hospital before 6 am, so I took advantage of being the first people there and slept on a couch for the morning. Waiting is the worst part.
