I don't know if you have seen this but I had 2 BIG citi bank pop ups (ads) yesterday well on the bump/nest. There was a post about it on the 12-24m board so I guess I am not the only one.
Is this something new or is there something wrong with the bump/nest here is a link to the post

Re: Oh great Mod chaoticmum
very true but when you hit the "close ad" button your whole window closes, so if you are like me who only works in 1 window with a lot of tabs it is not good.

I use tabs as well and it just closes the ad. Are you hitting the right "x"?

I am using Chrome. I don't remember if it had a "x" or if it says "Click here to close ad". I only tried to close it ones the last time it came up I just waited for it to close on it's own.

i'm also using firefox and haven't even seen these ads. but then again, i have popups blocked.
I also have pop up blocker on but some how these still come up, that is what I find so odd about them
This for me too. When I click on the "x" they go away though.
I have all pop-ups blocked on Firefox too and have gotten a few ads. Maybe you're just lucky? :-)
Just in case anyone wants to know this is what the ad looks like
