Y'alls progress dust worked!! =) Thanks
About 50% effaced and he said most likely 1cm dilated & his head is down real low! yippeee
So we are to report to the hospital Tuesday morning bright and early, 6 .a.m. Pitocin will be started, and if nothings happened between then and 5 p.m. that night, they will stop my drip. I will get to eat and shower and then I will be given some kind of vag pill to help me progress and then by 7 that next morning I will be put on a different kind of med.
So here's hoping Tuesday comes fast and baby boy will be ready to go!
Re: Y'alls progress dust worked!! =) Thanks
That's great news, maybe he'll even make an appearance this weekend.
Good Luck!!

Thanks ladies!
But shhh about him coming on his own lol. I'm secretly wanting that too, but Mr. BB doesn't as he is on call this whole week and well we need the money!
Do you plan on going med free?
The vag pill is probably Cervadil. That was the most painful part of my entire labor and delivery. It's like the worst period cramps EVER. But if that's the worst part for you too, it will be a breeze. Good luck! You're going to be a Mommy really soon!
He said it won't be Cervadil, but something else since I'm already soft. He didn't tell me the name of it.
I'm assuming med free as in an epi? I want to go as long as I can without an epi, but if I cave sooner, no biggie. Not everyone can do it! lol
This!
Oh, I'm not judging. I'm the biggest pansy ever. I got the epi as soon as they broke my water. My thought is why go through pain if you don't need to?
Hopefully you go into labour first...
Oh no, I know you aren't judging! lol I agree with you, why deal with the pain if you don't have to?! So we shall see what comes of these contractions! haha
I know epi's can prolong the labor, so that's why I'm hoping to hold off on it for as long as i can!
I'm sure everyone *can* do it, but not everyone is willing to.
Nothing wrong with that. The epi was my favorite part of labor and delivery.
OMG yes. I even went into it thinking I would try to go epi free. As soon as it got put in the words that flew out of my mouth were "Wow, I want to get an epidural every day of my life."
Amelia is going to be a big sister!
