NER: Marisa had her 1st ER visit last night.
Once of my worst nights as a mom. =(
She woke up from her nap after pedi's office closed, and had a fever of 104.8. 4 hours later after chest x-rays and a catheter (both horrible when dealing with a 19 month old), she has an upper resp. infection and a possible UTI.
All in all, once her fever came down she was an awesome patient, and even gave some "Hi", "Bye", waves and smiles to the doctors and nurses.
She's on antibiotics and is running a low fever today, but she's her happy, playful self.

Aww, poor baby! (and poor mom!)
Glad to hear/read she's doing better.
The catheter was necessary to get the urine sample. We had to hold her down. =(
Honestly, the chest x-ray was worse, because it was during her hysterical/fever still way too high point.

She had a runny nose for about a week, but no fever. We figured it would just pass, and they can't give anything for a basic viral infection anyway.

I'm glad she's doing better today and I hope you're both able to get some rest. Poor little one

hope she feels better from now on!
I am so glad to hear she is doing better. Poor baby - what an experience.
And while we are on the subject of your daughter I just have to say yet again she is so adorable. I love her new picture!
Good heavens, that much have been scary!
I'm so glad she's on the mend... I hope you can spend some quality time hugging your girl to help relieve the stress of the past 24 hours!
She is such a precious little dumplin! I am glad she's doing better.
Parenthood sounds scary
Poor baby!!! (Both of you!!!)

Poor thing! (Both her and you!)
Now that she's doing a little better, I hope you're both able to get some rest and Marisa's able to kick the bug.
